Kataragama
Is the sacred land of God Skanda, which attracts thousands of people
from all over the Island of all religions throughout the year.
The festival of Katargama is one of the most colourful ones celebrated
during the months of July and August each year.
National Parks Sri
Lanka is a real paradise for nature lovers, because of its fascinating
variety of fauna and flora, apart from the tropical forests and the
botanical gardens. A visitor can enjoy birds and game watching in
about 10 National Parks.
Most of these parks are well known for elephants, birds, crocodiles,

are, Lahugala, Kumana, Galoya, Maduruoya,
